Diet LEVEL 1
The following images are what we hand out initially to people looking to lose weight and clean up their eating habits. They are very basic outlines which we have found to offer the greatest probability for weight loss/body composition changes. Always work on PORTION SIZES too. I have found that the main problem with people who are prone to being overweight would be that they tend to eat “too much” in relation to portion sizes as opposed to making “healthy choices”. Steak may be very good for you, but having it for breakfast then again for dinner - over timeframes of decades - and we have now a digestion problem with meat, etc. At this level we are working on revising the individuals ability to be satisfied with less (sugars/carbohydrates).




Diet LEVEL 2
Here we add the concept of “intermittent fasting” which is a fancy way of not eating breakfast to give your body a long stretch of time for digestion. Say if you ate dinner at 7pm and you intermittently fasted until 12pm lunchtime your digestive system would have had 17 hours (5 + 12) to work. Contrary to popular belief the body does NOT act as a car in relation to “put food in and run”, it actually works better when the stomach is empty. Because the act of digestion takes up so much of the bodies energy to work, it diverts energy from the brain, anti-inflammation processes, muscle recovery functions, and many more important operating systems that regulate well being. This “diversion of energies” is similar to a computers task processor in that the computer (body) will automatically slow down the system and reorganize tasks according to CPU usage. In the human body’s case - digestion is hogs all the processor power until it is done. Understanding this key concept now look down at your belly or weight problem and ask yourself “how long have I been in this state of non-digestion”? The answer that comes from that would be relative to the amount of effort/time required to reach your health goals. Been dealing with a weight issue for 15 years? You are now 15 years in debt to digestion. This does not necessarily mean it will take 15 years to drop it, less than half actually, but it does mean you have a fight on your hands and the earlier you can start, the sooner the process will work for you.
